Hey there. I've been into game making since about 2008, but it wasn't until 2014 I was able to complete my first ever game! The game was started and finished in a single week for a contest. In one week I was able to do what I struggled with for 6 years. 6 WHOLE YEARS. HILARIOUS ISN'T IT.

I think Harmonic was dead on. People are NEVER satisfied. It doesn't really matter what you do honestly. So I just decided I'm going to make my games the way I want, and if people don't like it, oh well.
Great attitude, that's the same way I feel, we're indie gamers and we should be able to do what we want without being judged.
Storylines are really important for me, sometimes more than gameplay tbh. Take Final Fantasy 8 for an example, I actually didn't like the game play that much, all you did in battle was summon your GF and draw a bit of magic now and then. If the storyline had been anything different I probably would not have played it. I guess it would work the other way around too, but I've never been truly mesmerised by game play like I have with stories. I'm very fond of a games story since it's visual and (Normally) interactive of some kind.
Don't get me wrong, gameplay is obviously a very important factor. Sometimes I'll watch YT videos of a games game play that I want to buy to see if I'll like it.
Anyone good at ripping?
OK, well I tried this a few times myself before I posted this, but I just can't do it. I don't really have the time, knowledge, effort or skill. I can't find this Chipset ANYWHERE (if you have found it, please share it with me before I have a fit). I just need this screenshot ripped into a Chipset that can work in RM2K3.

I don't know much about ripping but I saved it to my Computer and zoomed into 2X on MSPaint, and it looked like the right size and quality. (is that even how people rip stuff??) :-\

RPG Studio Easiest Fastest Creating Online RPG
I'm not actually going to download this to be honest, i'm not really the MMORPG kinda guy, so this doesn't appeal to me. Apart from the second and last screenshot it looks fantasic I love the look of the terrain, I am personally impressed by the amount of work you probably put into this.

Haha The nose bleed one is an excellent idea! I don't think it's sick at all, you only have to look at it not touch it or anything :P It's like making lemonade out of lemons (sorry someone said that to me today)

What are you playing at the moment?
Wow I just realized, i'm not playing anything at all anymore, i've completely given up on FFXII and I finished Mario Galaxy about two weeks ago. I think i've been busy on RPG Maker with Release Day coming up. Man, I need a new game I haven't brought one in months.
Hmmm, I think Brawl is out in ten days over here, I doubt i'll be able to get a copy for quite a while after its release, all the fanboys have pre-ordered.
